One of the important questions introduced in "The Mystery of the Nile" was "Who owns the Nile?". Since more than 150 million people (a number that is increasing) depend on its waters, we are likely to keep asking that question for years to come.
So what do you think? Who owns the Nile? How should countries deal with waterways that cross international borders? Be sure to address the information below in your answer.
I don't think anyone owns the Nile! I also don't think anyone should because if one person or country did own it they would control its waters and build dams so some people may not be able to get water in their country! People should make deals with other countries so they can share the waterways without any one country owning it, avoiding conflict! When they make deals they should agree not to build dams and make unanymous decisions!
